My name is Ashley Tsang! I was born in Fremont, CA, raised in Portland, OR, and have lived in Chino Hills, CA since 2014! I am currently going to college at UCI for Computer Science! I have a strong love for performing! I was a Varisty color guard member in the Ayala Band and Color Guard for 3 years. The program required 30+ hours of dedication each week. My interest for programming led me to becoming a member STEM Robotics competiton team for 2 years, which required 25+ hours of my commitment each week aswell. Furthermore, I took a total of 9 AP classes, from AP Chemistry to AP Literature in order to give myself the ability to indulge in a variety of subjects, even if not specifically linked to my intended future career! From this havy schedule, I have gained the experience to efficiently balance my time and enjoy the little things in life! I have a passion for the beauty that earth naturally provides, which has motivated me to participate in activities such as beach clean-ups, and be vegan for almost 2 years now! I enjoy playing recreational volleyball, finding cute cafes, and going to concerts with my close friends. My dream is to work for a large company under software development (or perhaps run my own company?) and be able to travel and discover the gorgeous cultures and environments of the world.
Currently, I am looking for more volunteering opportunities, aswell as a job for the summer of 2018! I would like to use my skill and knowledge to create or develop something to make a change, whether it be something as small as giving people access to quick information to create convenience in their lives (such as updated websites, updated information) or to create something completely from scratch that can and will change the world, I have a passion towards making this dream into a reality! I consider myself charismatic, and although very reliable and headstrong, open to constructive critism and known to stay calm and collected under pressure. I enjoy working in a cooperative environment where I may bounce my ideas off of others, and they may do the same. But I am also comfortable being a single force in a project as well!
